dnsbl-milter is a lightweight and flexible Sendmail DNSBL and DNSWL mail filter (milter). dnsbl-milter consults a set of DNS black lists and white lists to determine if messages from particular hosts should be accepted.

fakehermes is a small, lightweight fake SMTP
server. It's useful as a way to avoid spam by
configuring your domains to point their secondary
SMTP server to a fakehermes server. It will log
not only the email messages involved, but also how
they are trying to send email and whether they
should be considered spam or not. This information
can be used to "profile" the spammers that send
you spam and can allow you to configure or tune
other spam filters. It supports SPF and RBL
checking.

libSmtpThread is a multi-threaded C++ library for
sending mail via SMTP. The library provides a
connection pool that initializes a set of threaded
SMTP connections. Emails can be pushed into the
pool, which accepts all mail and delivers them to
a free connection. The delivery to the SMTP server
is processed in a separate thread, so you don't
have to wait for mail to be accepted. It has been
successfully tested with Postfix.

vthrottle is an implementation of an SMTP
throttling engine for Sendmail servers, based upon
M. Williamson's mechanisms, as described in his
2003 Usenix Security paper. It allows the
administrator to control how much email users and
hosts may send, hindering the rapid spread of
viruses, worms, and spam. Exceptions can be made
using a whitelist mechanism, which can be
generated manually or with the included tool
"vmeasure". vthrottle tells the misbehaving client
to hold on to the deferred mail and resend it at a
later time.

machiNET autoresponder provides vacation messages for Postfix mail servers. It works as a content filter and extracts relevant data (sender and receiver) from the SMTP protocol handshake. It is intended to be used with openLDAP. ispENV2.schema is used for vacation attributes.

WBL is a really simple tool that can be used in a
.qmail file for managing a white/black list of
email addresses. It serves as a pre-filter to
allow known-good friends and associates bypass the
usual gauntlet of filters. Note that WBL is not
intended to be a spam filter, it is simply an
easy-to-use whitelist/blacklist management tool
that serves to keep email that you really want to
see out of your normal filters.

ldapvacation is an LDAP-enabled version of the
vacation program that sends an "I am not here"
indication upon receipt of email.

Postmaster is an Internet mail transport
agent (MTA) that handles incoming ESMTP
network connections and delivers accepted
messages to the user's mailbox by piping it
into an arbitrary local mailer (such as
Procmail). It is configurable beyond anything
you'll ever need, handles any number of
concurrent connections without forking or
using OS threading, and it is pretty efficient. It
currently lacks any form of queue
management, but for leaf sites that don't
need to do extensive mail relaying, it is a
reliable and powerful solution.

JeguePanel is a panel to provide easy management
of GNU/Linux servers. It makes services
configuration (email and samba) much more easy and
efficient, and handles user and permissions
management. It's integrated with monitoring tools
and a lot of control programs like anti-virus,
anti-spam, reports, etc. It has English,
Portuguese, and Spanish translations. It can use
OpenLDAP, PostgreSQL, or MySQL as a backend, and
has full integration with Active Directory. It
will show different interfaces to users based on
permission levels.
