Terrier is software for the rapid development of
Web, intranet, and desktop search engines. More
generally, it is a modular platform for building
large-scale information retrieval applications,
providing indexing and probabilistic retrieval
functionalities. It comes with a desktop search
application.

Enigmail is an extension for the mail client of
Mozilla, Netscape 7.x, and Mozilla Thunderbird that allows users to access the authentication and encryption features provided by the popular GnuPG software. It can encrypt/sign mail when sending, decrypt/authenticate received mail, and import/export public keys. It supports both the inline PGP format and the PGP/MIME format, which can be used to encrypt attachments, and is cross-platform, although binaries are supplied only for a limited number of platforms. Enigmail uses inter-process communication to execute GPG to carry out encryption/authentication.

Jitterbit is an integration tool for designing,
configuring, testing, and deploying integration
solutions. It supports many document types and
most standards-based protocols, including XML, Web
Services, popular databases, text files, FTP,
HTTP, and others. The integration server runs on
both Windows and Linux and is configured using a
Java-based user interface that is designed to make
integration quick, easy, and intuitive to
complete. With the UI, users can define their
integration operations from start to finish:
adding source and target systems, using
drag-and-drop mapping to transform data, setting
schedules, creating success/failure events, and
tracking all of their deployed integration operations.

ua is a simple command line tool that finds sets
of identical files. The name is derived from the
Hungarian word ugyanaz, meaning the same. The
development of ua was motivated by the
disturbingly often recurring event of waiting too
long for a shell script using sorts, md5sums,
diffs, and the like to finish finding identical files.

VHCS (Virtual Hosting Control System) provides
complete hosting automation for Linux, including
Web, mail (POP and IMAP), FTP, DNS, databases,
quota, traffic control, and graphical user
interfaces for the administrators, resellers, and
users.

jfor converts XML documents conforming to the
XSL:FO specification to RTF format, to allow them
to be loaded in word processors.

Spindle is a plugin for the Eclipse Platform that
provides excellent IDE support for Web apps
developed using the Tapestry framework. It
includes wizards for creating applications and
application components. Editors for applications, libraries, pages, components, and templates, all with popup help, syntax completion, and "as you type validation" are included. A project build process catches and marks almost every runtime Tapestry error before you deploy your application.

Openbravo is an ERP business solution for small and medium sized companies. It uses a fully Web based client/server architecture and can be used from any Web browser. It has support for PostgreSQL and Oracle database back-ends.

Enigform is a Mozilla Firefox extension that
provides the ability to digitally sign HTTP
requests, even those generated via AJAX. It
implements the mechanism described in the white
paper "OpenPGP-based Identity and Data
Authentication for HTTP", by Arturo Buanzo
Busleiman.

cpdetector is a small yet clever framework for
codepage detection that integrates different
strategies. It may be used as a library for third
party software that accesses textual data over
network. It also includes a best-practice
implementation in form of a command line tool that
allows sorting and transforming large collections
of documents based on their codepage. Available
strategies include: jchardet (exclusion, frequency
analysis, and guessing), detection of the HTML
charset property, and detection of the XML
encoding declaration.

The XNGR XML Browser is an XML browser framework, written in Java, that provides the functionality to associate Markers with directories, files, XML documents, and nodes in an XML document. Services and Actions can be associated to inspect and manage these marked items. Default services include a simple XML Editor and XML Viewer.
