Tera Term is Tera Term Pro 2.3 succession version and is being officially recognized by the original author. Tera Term is open source free software terminal emulator supporting UTF-8 protocol. Now TTSSH supports SSH2 protocol (Original version supports SSH1).

    • When the USB serial cable is inserted and extracted while the serial connection is doing, new serial connection will be failed. However, this fix is supported on the Windows XP or later.
      • added the AutoComPortReconnect entry in the teraterm.ini file. The default value is on.
    • The cygterm.cfg file can not be saved in the Virtual Store environment.
    • The status line can not work well.

  • Changes
    • When the fingerprint of the host key is shown on the known_hosts and the version dialog, the hash algorithm can be not only MD5, but SHA256.
    • Added support for the ED25519 key by using the host key verifying(SSHFP) of DNS.
    • The key exchange, host key, cipher, MAC and compression method which are not shown in the teraterm.ini file is changed for inserting position in the following:
      • Enabled method by default ... The method is inserted at the end of using methods.
      • Disabled method by default ... The method is inserted at the end of not using methods.
    • The command line option can be quoted from an offset when the '"' is used.
  • Bug fixes
    • The OpenSSH can not read the SSH private key file of the KDF format.

  • 変更
    • known_hostsダイアログおよびバージョン情報ダイアログにおいて、サーバホスト鍵の指紋を表示するときに使うハッシュアルゴリズムを、MD5 だけでなく SHA256 も選択できるようにした。
    • DNS によるホスト鍵の確認(SSHFP)で ED25519 鍵に対応した。
    • TERATERM.INI の設定値で指定されていない鍵交換・ホスト鍵・暗号化・MAC・圧縮方式の、プログラムでの挿入位置を変更した。
      • プログラムのデフォルトで有効な方式...使用される方式の末尾に追加される
