You're right - I can't read Japanese, but I can just about get the main idea of the message by using an online automatic translation service. I agree with you -- I think using CVS for now is the right way to go. Perhaps in the future once the sourceforge Subversion service is well- tested we can consider the conversion again. As far as I know, Subversion is reasonably well supported inside emacs. Thanks, Jonathan
