What is Risoluto

Risoluto is a PHP framework which is developed based on the concept "simple and light". In existing frameworks, there are lots of things to understand about the frameworks themselves in addition to the language they use. Whereas, Risoluto is optimized at the maximum so that you can use it “as long as you know PHP”, that is appropriate for the developer who uses any framework for the first time or the developer who does not need so many functions as existing frameworks.

Risoluto is not a CMS; however CMS can be implemented with using CMS. But, it is not sure which is easy and fast implementation way, Risoluto or another framework. ;)

Risoluto is far from a high functional framework even it can be located at the opposite side. In addition, it is a bit suspicious about the adequacy to categorize it as a “framework”.

Reliable when “off the rails”

As long as a project is running on the rails provided by a framework, it can be developed in comfortable environment; however, there is no promise that the project can keep itself “on the rails” and run to the terminal station in the programming world. Its convenience and high functionality do not allow turning in a small radius of the rail that often decreases productivity. Furthermore, it will take for a long time to acquire. To things make worse, some acquired knowledge is only applicable for a particular framework. If you want to use another framework, you should start from scratch.

As long as you are using Risoluto, you won’t be bored by too many XML files. As long as you are using Risoluto, you won’t loose what the framework is doing in back ground. As long as you are using resolute, you won’t confound “means” with the “end” about “using a framework”.

You can gain something and loose something from Risoluto. Any expensive items will be useless if the usage is wrong.

Target to minimize pushing

There are few things to memorize even you can ignore them with some small exceptions. For example, Risoluto without any additional software, it depends on a part of PHP and PEAR (MDB2/MDB2_Driver_mysql/MDB2_Driver_mysqli/Pager) and the template engine Smarty. Most of own classes in Risoluto are only wrapping them. If you have the knowledge above, you can use Risoluto immediately. If you have got used to other tools rather than PEAR or Smarty, you can use them without any hesitation.

Need codes? Do It Yourself

Using Risoluto makes you to write a lot of codes by yourself. It is untouched by the functions such as DI and ORM which are always equipped with the recent frameworks. If you want to use them, you should wait until someone implements otherwise implement it by yourself. Probably, it is recommended to use another framework in case there needs to use such functions.
