when using JSpinner with a extension of SpinnerNumberModel, the JSpinner is not drawn at all. there is a small line, but that's it. I guess there's something wrong with the default settings of JSpinner.

if I set the sizes explicitly, some sort of JSpinner shows up, but no value is displayed. I can't enter the values, and can't change them either.
