RKWard aims to provide an easily extensible, easy to use IDE/GUI for the R project. RKWard strives to combine the power of the R language with the (relative) ease of use of commercial statistical packages. While RKWard is far from finished, it is already useful as an IDE interface to the R language.

Neben Bugfixes bringt diese Version eine Vielzahl von neuen Features. Ein neues Fenster Strg + Tab Switching-Funktion erleichtert mit vielen Dokumenten arbeiten. S4-Slots und Paket-Namespaces können nun in den Arbeitsbereich Browser geprüft werden. Das Ausgabefenster kann nun auch verwendet, einfach, um Ausschnitte von R-Code (einschließlich Syntax-Highlighting) und den entsprechenden R-Ausgang Dokument.

Besides bugfixes, this release brings a variety of new features. A new Ctrl+Tab window switching feature eases working with many documents. S4 slots and package namespaces can now be explored in the workspace browser. The output window can now also be used, easily, to document snippets of R code (including syntax highlighting) and the corresponding R output.
