pyNMS is a set of Python modules for network
management, network testing, systems management,
and general use. It contains a nearly complete
implementation of SNMPv2c, a SMI/MIB package, and
a MIB "compiler". There are many others, such as a
telnet/console access class, XML tools, an IPv4
class, etc. There is, unfortunately, little
documentation, and not everything works properly
yet, but they work well enough to be useful for
many things.
