Cameleon is an integrated development environment for Objective Caml and eventually other languages. Its features include a graphical user interface, configuration management based on CVS, easy access to and browsing of documentation, various editors, customizable file types, a plug-in architecture, and a highly customizable interface.

Bugfixes und Verbesserungen wurden in Chamo gemacht. Die Codierung der Dateien behandelt wird, mit der Fähigkeit, eine Codierung beim Öffnen einer Datei angeben, und die Möglichkeit, die Codierung einer Datei ändern. Das Datum wird gehalten, wenn eine Datei in der Lage sein, Änderungen einer Datei zu erkennen, während es in chamo bearbeitet wird. Bugfixes and enhancements were made in Chamo. The
encoding of files is handled, with the ability to
specify an encoding when opening a file and the
ability to change the encoding of a file. The date
is kept when saving a file to be able to detect
modifications of a file while it is edited in
chamo. Some buffer attributes are kept in the
chamo files, like the encoding and the mode.
Cameleon does not act as server by default, since
the cam_start_server command was added. OCaml-RSS
is now included in Cameleon.
