lxdvdrip is a command line tool to make a copy from a video DVD. It automates the process of ripping, authoring, previewing, and burning the DVD. It uses tools like mplayer, transcode, vamps, dvdauthor, and growisofs. You can backup just the main feature without the menu or the whole DVD.

Ein Bugfix im Modus "Vamps_menu": DVD-Struktur von der Festplatte kopiert werden kann. Wodim/Genisoimage ersetzt Mkisofs/Cdrecord. Ein Fix für den Aufbau auf Ubuntu 11.10. Mbuffer ersetzt Puffer (Lxdvdrip - St = Trans_par). Unterstützung für Dvdauthor 0.7: Erstellen Sie die Datei ~./config/video_format mit Inhalt PAL/NTSC. Unterstützung für Dvdauthor 0.7: Flecken (gegen den Fehler "SCR bewegt nach hinten"). Ein Bugfix für Vlc als Stream Werkzeug: Verwendung Dvdsimple anstelle von Vlc, sonst dvd wird nicht beendet.
