eboxy is an application for building simple user interfaces for entertainment PCs, suitable for use with a remote on a TV screen. It uses SDL for graphics and XML-based interface description files, supports TrueType fonts and PNG alpha transparency, and has a plugin extension system.

Das Plugin-System wurde verbessert, um Plugin-Entwicklung sehr viel einfacher machen, und ein einfaches Plugin für das Abspielen von Hintergrundmusik hinzugefügt wurde. Threads sind jetzt für viel glatter Ausführung von Skripten und externen Programmen verwendet werden. Verbesserte HTML und Nur-Text-Dokumentation wurden hinzugefügt und einige Bugs wurden behoben.
