Projektbeschreibung

DataVision is a reporting tool similar to Crystal Reports. Reports can be designed using a drag-and-drop GUI or a text editor. They may be run, viewed, and printed from the application or exported as HTML, XML, PDF, Excel, LaTeX2e, DocBook, or tab- or comma-delimited text files. The output files produced by LaTeX2e and DocBook can in turn be used to produce PDF, text, HTML, PostScript, and more. It can generate reports from JDBC databases or text data files. Report descriptions are stored as XML files.

Neue Aggregat Felder wurden hinzugefügt: Summe, min, max, count, average, stddev. Die Parsing-API wurde vereinfacht. JRuby und iText wurden modernisiert. Ein "Löschen"-Menü Punkt wurde in der Feldauswahl Bearbeiten-Menü hinzugefügt. Die zuletzt verwendeten Layout-Engine ist jetzt erinnerte. Release Verpackungs-und GUI-Bugs wurden gefixt. PDF Font-Auswahl wurde verbessert. DataVision erfordert nun Java 1.4. Nicht benötigte Regex-und XML-Gläser wurden entfernt. Der Code wurde von CVS auf SVN verschoben.

simplified. JRuby and iText were upgraded. A
"delete" menu item was added in the field picker
edit menu. The last-used layout engine is now
remembered. Release packaging and GUI bugs were
fixed. PDF font selection was improved. DataVision
now requires Java 1.4. Unneeded regex and XML jars
were removed. The code was moved from CVS to SVN.
