Tenfourbird ist inoffiziell Build von Mozilla Thunderbird für PowerPC-basierten Mac OS X.

Tenfourbird verwendet Changesets der TenFourFox.
Neueste Version 38.9.0.
Es gibt auch einen deutschen langpack.

It is strongly recommended that BACKING UP YOUR PROFILE DIRECTORY before installing this release. ( /Users/[user_dir]/Library/Thunderbird )

If you find bug, please report to Forums or Ticket system.

Files

You can check integrity of files by RIPEMD160 or SHA512 hashes. It signed by OpenPGP key of t_mrc-ct[at]users.sourceforge.jp. The public key could get from here or OpenPGP Keysever.

Known Issues

  • Auto Updater does not fully supported. (Update Checker is supported. But you need to download and install new version manually.)
  • Tenfourbird doesn't contains Enigmail add-on since v17.0. It provide separately.
  • Enigmail for Tenfourbird 10.0.* or before does not update automatically. You need to download and install Enigmail for Tenfourbird manually.
  • Sudden message deletion issue is reported. I think it may related Mbox compaction. I recommend mail backup before folder compaction.
  • Chat communication disconnects regularly. (forum)
  • There are also open tickets reported.
