どうでもいい話なんですが。
cvsのついでにcygwin上でコンパイルしてみようとしたら、結構ヘッダファイルあたりでエラーが出ますね。__tryとか、commctrl.hとか。
mame.net配布している、あるいは以前NJさんが配布していたMinGWセットって、そこいらに手を入れてあるものなんでしょうか？

cygwin上のgccのライブラリ・ヘッダとMinGWのgccのライブラリ・ヘッダが違うようです。
たぶんgccのバイナリ自体もちがうんでしょうね。

この辺は目的が違うんで納得はできる結果だと思います。
＃cygwinはunixソースの再利用が主目的っぽいですし、MinGWはコンパイラの提供が主目的っぽい

cygwinはどうもcommctrl.h自体にエラーがあるような・・・
#win32アプリは詳しくないんでようわからんのですが。
