Txt2tags converts a text file with minimal markup to HTML, XHTML, SGML, DocBook, LaTeX, Lout, Man page, Creole, Wikipedia, Google Code Wiki, PmWiki, DokuWiki, MoinMoin, MagicPoint, PageMaker, AsciiDoc, or ASCII Art. It is simple and fast and features automatic TOC, macros, filters, include, tools, GUI, CLI, and Web interfaces, translations, and extensive documentation.

Neue Ziele sind Wikipedia, Google Code-Wiki und DokuWiki. Eine neue Marke für durchgestrichen Text aufgenommen. Neue Werkzeuge sind ein Bündel TextMate, eine Sprache gedit-Datei und eine gensite Programm. Unicode (UTF-8) Unterstützung wurde verbessert. Die PHP-Web-Interface wurde neu geschrieben. Es wurden Verbesserungen an der MoinMoin, Latex und Lout Ziele. Finnischen und chinesischen Übersetzungen wurden aufgenommen.
