Projektbeschreibung

OtheRSync is a program for the automatic, efficient, and safe
synchronization of two machines over a network. It's efficient (using
compression and incremental changes), safe (uses ssh, is fail-safe, and
makes backups of deleted files by default), uses parallel processing,
and supports feedback through the commandline prompt. It is built on top
of rsync. New or changed files are synchronized, and files that have been
deleted on one machine are deleted on the other machine. OtheRSync can
resume without becoming broken or dangerous after an interruption or an
error.

A nasty bug that caused moved files to be added to the delete-list has
been fixed (it still happens when the files are moved while OtheRSync is
running). File permissions are now also synced (but not if they occurred
while OtheRSync was running). Tail biting prevention has been added (the
same configuration won't start again if it is still running; tailbiting
was harmless, but not neat). Clash warnings now remain in the prompt
after OtheRSync is done. Note that the configuration file has changed a
bit, so don't run the new version with the old configuration file.
