MuseScore lets you notate and compose music easily with your keyboard, your mouse, or a MIDI keyboard. You can print beautifully engraved sheet music or export it as PDF or PNG. You can play your score, transpose it, and save it as audio or MIDI file. MuseScore also supports MusicXML to let you share your composition with other scorewriters. MuseScore is often advertised as a cost effective alternative for Sibelius and Finale.

Eine neue Jazz-Font wurde hinzugefügt. Die Schaffung von Lead-Sheets wurde wesentlich erleichtert. Das Programm wird nun bettet ein Twitter-Stream für die neuesten Nachrichten und YouTube Tutorial-Videos über die Software zu erlernen. Es verfügt über Noten von der MuseScore Community, die kostenlos heruntergeladen werden kann geteilt werden. Last but not least, haben mehr als 60 Bugs behoben und MuseScore ist jetzt in 43 Sprachen übersetzt.

A new jazz font was added. The creation of lead sheets was made much easier. The program now embeds a Twitter stream for the latest news and YouTube tutorial videos to learn about the software. It features sheet music shared by the MuseScore community, which can be downloaded for free. Last but not least, more than 60 bugs have been fixed and MuseScore is now translated into 43 languages.

MuseScore 1,0 baut auf der Grundlage von MuseScore 0.9.6 und die drei Bugfix-Releases seit Juni 2010 veröffentlicht. Der Schwerpunkt dieses Releases wurde die Stabilität durch Verringerung Bugs. Nur ein sehr neuer Features begrenzten Satz hinzugefügt wurden. Mehrere neue Übersetzungen hinzugefügt wurden.

Dies ist die erste stabile Version für Mac OS X 10.4 und höher. Noten können als Audio-Dateien in WAV, OGG oder FLAC-Format gespeichert werden. Plugins können verwendet werden, und erstellt werden.
