Mp3blaster is an interactive text-based program
that plays several audio file types (MP3, Ogg
Vorbis, wav, and sid). It is one of the few audio
players for the text console that allows full
interactive control during playback. One of its
key features is the ability to compose a very
flexible playlist (while playing!). It plays most
MP3 formats and has full mixer support built in.

A workaround for a Red Hat 7.2 compilation error, a fix for a problem with some soundcards not closing or opening properly, files without ID3-tags are no longer left opened, the playlist no longer stops on file read errors, a fix for file sort order, a new feature that will skip to the next group in the playlist, new XING header parsing, and many more smaller feature enhancements and bugfixes.
