The PreludeDB Library provides an abstraction layer upon the type and format of the database used to store Prelude (IDMEF) events. Prelude is a hybrid Intrusion Detection framework implementing an open communication layer for use by any security application. The library allows developers to use the Prelude IDMEF database easily and efficiently without worrying about SQL, and independently of the type/format of the database used.

Ein mögliches Problem mit PostgreSQL Einfügung AdditionalData wurde behoben. Lesung des message_processing_model, security_model und security_level umgesetzt wurde. Behandlung von Mitgliedern der Gemeinschaft ist jetzt veraltet (IDMEF Version 16 aktualisiert). Ein Fehler in der Service-> ip_version nicht aus der Datenbank gelesen werden, wurde behoben. Wenn eine Verbindung zu einer PostgreSQL-Datenbank, ist die Standard-Datumsformat nun ISO-Werten. Dies ist erforderlich, weil libpreludedb ISO-Format beim Parsen Datenbank Zeitstempel übernimmt. Error Reporting Verbesserungen durchgeführt.

A possible problem with PostgreSQL insertion of AdditionalData was fixed. Reading of message_processing_model, security_model, and security_level was implemented. Handling of community members is now deprecated (IDMEF version 16 update). A bug where Service->ip_version would not be read from the database was fixed. Upon connection to a PostgreSQL database, the default date style is now set to ISO. This is required because libpreludedb assumes ISO format when parsing database timestamps. Error reporting improvements were made.
