Contact Conductance Estimator (CoCoE) is a program that estimates
the conductance (or resistance) between two surfaces in contact. It
is meant to be used by designers and analysts of physical systems
where heat transfer by means of contact is of importance. CoCoE is
written in Perl, and uses a self-contained SQLite database and Tk for
the user interface.

Die CoCoE Fenster hat nun eine Statusleiste an, zeigt die Hilfe-Einträge. CoCoE wird nun für Anpressdruck-Input-Methode fragen (direkt oder über Last-und Area) statt der älteren Weise. Es ist nun möglich die Eingabe so viele Kontakt-Druck wie gewünscht, anstatt über jedes Mal, wenn Sie einen neuen Wert versuchen zu starten.

Many new entries in the database. Many fixes to existing entries in the database (correlations are now much more accurate). The CoCoE window now has a status bar that displays help messages. CoCoE will now ask for contact pressure input method (Direct or via Load and Area) instead of the older way. It is now possible to input as many contact pressures as wanted, instead of having to start over every time you want to try a new value.

Material selection is now bidirectional (i.e. it makes no difference which material is A and which is B). The ability to answer a question with 'Unknown' has been completed. If done so, CoCoE may return more than one result. This release displays the relevancy of each result, indicating the percentage of conditions (= user's answers) satisfied. Small bugfixes.

Unit of measurement handling has been improved considerably. The result window now shows both the conductance (h) and the resistance (Rc) and indicates the reference from which the data has been taken. In the pressure window, the user can now enter load instead of pressure, in which case the program will ask for the contact area. Many new entries were provided in the database.
