BSDBuild is a portable, self-contained build system with support for concurrent building, configure script generation, and IDE "project file" generation. It is derived from the original 4.4BSD build system, but it offers a degree of portability comparable to autotools.

Neue konfigurieren builtins wurden durchgeführt: - enthält, - Cache, und - with-ctags. Viele Korrekturen wurden vorgenommen, um Projekt-Datei Generation. Handhabung von Abhängigkeiten wurde verbessert, bei der Generierung von Code:: Blocks Projekt-Dateien. Dependency Generation mit langfristigen baut unter gmake wurde behoben. Viele neue Tests hinzu, und diverse Fixes wurden zu bestehenden Tests gemacht.
