GNU Anubis is an SMTP message submission daemon. It represents an intermediate layer between the mail user agent (MUA) and mail transport agent (MTA), receiving messages from the MUA, applying to them a set of predefined changes, and finally inserting modified messages into an MTA routing network. The set of changes applied to a message is configurable on a system-wide and per-user basis. The built-in configuration language used for defining sets of changes allows for considerable flexibility and is easily extensible.

Das Paket ist jetzt unter der GPL Version 3 lizenziert. Eine neue Arbeitsgruppe MDA-Modus wurde hinzugefügt. Die! = ( "Nicht überein") Betreiber und Verkettungsoperator umgesetzt wurden. The package is now licensed under GPL version 3. A new MDA working mode has been added. The != ("not match") operator and concatenation operator were implemented. With Guile support enabled, Guile version 1.8.0 or later is required. Handling of regular expressions was fixed, and arbitrary-sized buffers were removed. All memory is now allocated on request. The main configuration file is now processed if the client is recognized or not. Errors in Guile scripts are now caught and displayed early. In previous versions they could cause the subprocess to be aborted. A minor bug in the handling of identd responses was fixed.

In dieser Version hat die neue Authentifizierung und Autorisierung Modus eingeführt worden, die nicht erfordert, Client-Rechner zu einem AUTH Server (identd). Es benutzt die Standard-SMTP-AUTH-Fähigkeit. Der Anwender kann die Datenbank auf dem Server in einem der folgenden Formate eingehalten werden: Klartext, GDBM, MySQL oder PostgreSQL. Das Programm ist nun erweiterbar über Guile. Die Konfigurationsdatei Grammatik hat sich stark verbessert. Es verfügt über mehrere neue syntaktische Einheiten ermöglicht Verschachtelung von bedingten Anweisungen an beliebiger Tiefe, und ist leicht erweiterbar mit Guile. Eine Test-Suite wurde hinzugefügt.

In this release, the new authentication and
authorization mode has been introduced, which does
not require client machines to run an AUTH server
(identd). It uses the standard SMTP AUTH
capability. The user's database can be kept on the
server machine in any of the following formats:
plain text, GDBM, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. The
program is now extensible via Guile. The
configuration file grammar has been heavily
improved. It features several new syntactical
entities, allows nesting of conditional statements
to arbitrary depth, and is easily extended using
Guile. A test suite was added.

In dieser Version ein neues Format für die Nur-Text-Datenbanken können für die Aufnahme von leeren Feldern. Testfälle für die AUTH-Modus (auch bekannt als Dixie) zugegeben. Die GPGME Unterstützung wurde neu geschrieben, um mit GPGME 0.9.0 und neuer Arbeit. Die Xelo Erweiterung umgesetzt wurde zur Beschleunigung der Interaktion zwischen den Anubis-Daemon und anubisusr Dienstprogramm. Überprüfen Konfiguration durch den Benutzer Dateien auf Remote-Rechner ist viel schneller durch den Einsatz von MD5-Summen zu übertragen, sondern den gesamten Inhalt der Datei für den Vergleich.

In this release a new format of plain text databases allows
for inclusion of empty fields. Test cases for the AUTH mode
(a.k.a. Dixie) were added. The GPGME support has been
rewritten to work with GPGME 0.9.0 and newer. The XELO
extension has been implemented to speed up the interaction
between the Anubis daemon and anubisusr utility. Checking
user configuration files on remote machine is much faster
due to the use of MD5 sums instead of transferring the entire
file contents for comparison.
