Can you give more verbose reasons? What if I apply only the gtk4-client part (that's the future codebase anyway).

For background: I was looking gtk4-client for debugging #47814 when I noticed that those functions have all kind of minor style issues, and thought that it would be better to clean the baseline before working on any functional changes.
