Ticket details:
This metaticket is about the final switch from gtk-3.96 to gtk-3.98 for gtk3x-client.
There's still one patch that is a dependency that must go in before this switch can be made: #43013.
The switch consist of multiple patches that must go in at once. Any one of these patches break build on gtk-3.96, and all of them are needed for build with gtk-3.98 to work.
