So I downloaded CloneZilla 20200114-eoan (I tried alternative stable - 20191024-eoan too). I have a Dell 5070. I tuned off EUFI Boot, Changed SATA to AHCI and Disabled Secure boot. CloneZilla starts, find the local USB hard drive dev (sdb1)fined the nvme0n1 drive with 5 partitions (sda - sda4). I try to do a savedisk and everything looks like its going to work but as soon as I name the IMG and click OK I get an error.
I see
Excluding busy partition or disk ...
Error! No existing disk(s) or no mounted disk(s) are found! To use clonezill to save or clone a disk, the source disk must exist r be mounted! if you are sure the disk exists in this machine, maybe the kernal is too old
Press enter to continue
check /var/log/clonezilla.log for more detail
I looked at /var/log/clonezill.log - It didn't show any errors or much detail
This System does have 16GB Optane, 500GB SATA drive in it
Where the F are the check-sums? You don't actually think that in this age of threats anyone would actually just blindly use an unverifiable download! Do you?
