The phpBB Blog system turns a phpBB forum into a
blog. It comes with a sample template, and is
easily embedded in a home page. It also provides
an RSS feed.

WebCit is a Web-based, AJAX-enabled frontend to the Citadel groupware/collaboration system. It is an attractive Web middleware layer that allows user-friendly access. By combining WebCit and Citadel, you can have a versatile online environment with many users concurrently accessing the same system using the user interface of their choice (text, Web, or downloaded client software).

KorWeblog is highly customizable PHP/SQL Weblog/Content Management System initially based on phpweblog. The Sethi Family Guestbook is a multi-format guestbook script written as a single PHP file that requires no installation. It features page spanning, (optional) private comments, user-selection of number of entries per page to display, multiple guestbook formats (elegant, simple, or standard), and background color. No database is required. It supports image verification using random text as part of a CAPTCHA system. It also uses other techniques to foil spam robots. It supports multiple formats, mangled email display, and a fully customizable interface.

RPGBoard is a WWWBoard-style message board script. It includes multiple forum support, thread modes, a message previewer/editor, message tags, selectable backgrounds, default options for the regulars, name detection via cookies, recent message date/time color coding, the ability for users/admins to (un)delete messages, top poster statistics, a hidden spoiler message box, the ability to ban IP addresses, a word filter to block cuss words, and much more.

The RealizationEngine is designed from the ground up to facilitate group communication and collaboration. It will store that communication to built and manage an institutional knowledge base. It is accessible from any Web browser or Web-enabled device. Classified information is easily restricted to authorized individuals. Information can be compartmentalized, restricted, or published openly, as appropriate, all from the same system. Ideas are coherently threaded, and every message is searchable in a single location and in the context of the messages related to it.

Ajaqs is a Web application that organizes FAQs on a per-project basis. The UI is templatized, the content is internationalized, and the styles are highly configurable. Secure login is provided via webapp security constraints. The backend uses an O-R mapping tool to achieve independence of database-specific queries. RSS feeds provide subscribers continuous updates on a per-project or per-FAQ basis. FAQs are dynamically served up as HTML pages, and can optionally be streamed to clients as PDF content.

JForum is complete, powerful, database-independent, and multi-threaded forum software. Features include unlimited forums and categories, topic watching, email notification, private messages, user ranking, an advanced permission schema, and moderation options. It provides support for many languages and customizable templates per user.

The Distributed Library Project is a distributed library of people's books and videos. It is an experiment in creating community and sharing information. Users create accounts complete with bios and interest enumerations, then list the books and videos that they own. Those users are then free to browse the books that others have listed, sorted by proximity, interest, and book commonality. If a book or video is available, a user can check it out directly from the owner. There is an eBay-style feedback system for managing trust--users who return books on time get positive feedback, while users who damage books or return them late get negative feedback. These points create an overall "score" that lenders can use to judge the trustworthiness of a borrower. The system also supports user reviews, ISBN lookups, and collaboritve filtering.

KBoard Forum is a PHP/MySQL forum that is designed
to be lightweight and efficient but as fully featured as
possible. It can be deployed with minimal
configuration and there are easy-to-follow
instructions included as code comments. If you've
ever struggled with getting other forum tools to run
on your server, then KBoard may be just what you've
been looking for.

This module let users manage content pages for PHProjekt. It uses a directory-based model and role-based security. Features include file upload capabilities, a comment system, a search facility, and simple statistics generation.
