L2J is an alternate game server for Lineage2. The
L2 protocol is reimplemented in the server, so you
can play with this server without any modifications to the client (except changing the server IP address). The latest USA live client version is always supported, so don't expect this server to work with the PTS/Korean client.

UAE is a mostly complete software emulation of the hardware of the Commodore Amiga 500/1000/2000. A Commodore Amiga, for those who don't know, is a 16/32 bit computer system based on the Motorola 680x0 CPU and a few specially designed custom chips that provide very good graphics and sound capabilities. Its first incarnation, the A1000, appeared in 1985, followed by the highly successful A500 and A2000 models. But if you didn't know, you probably don't want an emulator.

DGen/SDL is an emulator for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive systems. The latest version supports save states, interlace mode, Game Genie, Linux joystick support, compressed ROM images, and other nice features.

PearPC is a platform-independent PowerPC
architecture emulator capable of running most
PowerPC operating systems. It includes a Just-
In-Time compiler for x86 processors.

ring3k is a user mode kernel capable of running
Windows 2000 and XP compatible native applications
on a Linux platform. It is a light-weight
virtualization of the NT kernel for the Linux x86
platform achieved by reimplementing kernel mode
code as a ring 3 process in C++.

ec64 (emulated C64) is an emulator for the Commodore 64. It is written in x86 assembly and C, and it runs under Linux.

gnuboy emulates the Color GameBoy handheld console
in portable C, with interfaces for X11, Linux
fbcon and svgalib, SDL, DOS, and Windows, with
other ports planned in the future. Compatibility
with ROMs tested is around 99 percent, and all
major hardware features except SGB extensions are
supported. With the optional optimized i386
assembly code, gnuboy can run at the full 60 FPS
even on Pentium/75s and below. No special
libraries are required to compile, and gnuboy is
known to build on many *nix variants.

Mac-on-Linux (MOL) is a virtual machine which runs
Mac OS (inlucluding Mac OS X) on top of Linux/ppc. There is no CPU emulation involved since MOL runs natively on the PowerPC processor. Mac OS versions 7.5.2 to 10.4.8 are supported.

Cloonix is a Linux router and host simulation platform. It fully encapsulates application, host, and network l2 and l3 into a relatively easy-to-use simulation GUI. Network delay and loss characteristics can be configured per link. It provides support for running kvm or UML virtual machines configured into an arbitrary complex network configuration. It is possible to run a 12 router UML simulation on a small x86 host (a P4 with 512 MB RAM). 32- and 64-bit KVM machines are provided.

Nonpareil is a microcode-level simulator for HP calculators introduced between 1972 and 1982, including the HP-35, HP-45, HP-55, HP-25, HP-34C, HP-38C, HP-41CV, HP-11C, HP-12C, HP-15C, HP-16C, and other models. The necessary microcode is included, as is a microcode assembler. The GTK+ toolkit is used for the user interface.

plus4emu is a portable emulator of the Commodore
Plus/4 computer. It supports Windows and POSIX
platforms (32 bit Windows, 32 and 64 bit Linux, and Mac OS X have been tested). It implements accurate, high
quality hardware emulation, but the system
requirements are higher than that of most other
emulators.

GXemul is an instruction-level machine emulator.
In addition to simulating CPUs, surrounding hardware components are also simulated, in some cases well enough to run real (unmodified) operating systems.
