svn2cvs allows you to commit changes made to a Subversion
repository to a CVS repository manually or from Subversion's
post-commit hook.

Anthill is a tool that ensures a controlled build process and promotes the sharing of knowledge within an organization. Anthill performs a checkout from the source repository of the latest version of a project before every build and tags the repository with a unique build number after every build. It supports many reposistory adapters including: CVS (Concurrent Versions System), Visual Source Safe, Perforce, PVCS, StarTeam, MKSIntegrity, and FileSystem. Anthill also automatically updates a project intranet site with artifacts from the latest build. Anthill is an extension to the Apache-Ant project and is compatible with version 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5 of Ant.

Jabylon is an extensible Web-based translation management software. It is meant primarily as a tool to help translators and developers manage and create translations. Jabylon supports translations of Java, Android, and iOS applications. It features tight integration into various source code management systems, a feature-rich Web editor, and a REST API to upload or download translations. It can also be used to offer your user community an easy way of contributing translations for new languages or suggest changes to existing translations.

StatCvs-XML provides statistics about CVS
usage based on CVS logs. It extends the
StatCvs project with fancy 3D charts,
advanced report generation, and
customization features. It also features a
plugin for seamless integration with Apache
Maven.

The Distributed Concurrent Versioning System (DCVS) extends the
well-known version control system CVS and the file distribution and
synchronization program CVSup with functionality to distribute CVS
repositories with local lines of development and handle
synchronization of the distributed repositories automatically in the
background. Development lines (branches) are owned by a repository
server, repository servers efficiently update each other via CVSup,
and CVS ensures correct server use on checkin and branch creation.

CVSreport produces text or enhanced HTML activity reports from a local or remote CVS repository. It can be used to extract activity information from any timespan, or to automatically generate reports and store/send them on commit events. It can extract changesets (a set of commit operations which happen along a single invocation of the cvs commit command) from a CVS repository history. Used from the client side, it produces a report starting from an arbitrary date from a simple working copy. On the server side, it can automatically generate reports and mail them upon commit.

CVSPermissions is a toolkit that will allow CVS
administrators to set up directory level access
control in CVS for multiple CVS users. This
toolkit is a collection of shell scripts and CVS
configuration to achieve the access control
functionality.

Freepository is a Web-based revision control system based on massive extensions of CVSWeb. It employs a project concept, which provides member accounts and access controls. At project creation, unique CVS repositories are created, containing their respectively unique project credentials. The database maps users to repositories. It also supports multi-file upload, secure remote command line access, and on-the-fly tarring & downloading of repositories.

xRecurseDiff is a small program that can rapidly traverse entire directory trees to show the differences between different copies of the same file. It can be useful for code analysis, expecially for collaborative development. For example, it can analyze differences before a CVS/SVN submission or to resolve a conflict in concurrent editing.

CVSTrac implements a low-ceremony Web-based bug and patch-set tracking system for use with CVS, Subversion, or GIT. Features include automatic changelog generation, repository change history browsing, user-defined bug database queries, Wiki pages, and Web-based administration of the CVSROOT/passwd file. CVSTrac is a stand-alone C program that operates either as CGI or as its own Web server.

CVSChangelogBuilder is a utility to generate
change logs for a project hosted on a CVS server.
The main goal is to provide a better output than
the 'cvs log' command, adding the choice of
sorting criteria, the status of the change (added,
removed, and modified), and to allow
'differential' change logs.

cvsfs is an attempt to let a user mount a CVS project like any file system. It allows you to navigate and browse through a project tree. No preparations are required on the CVS server side.

cvs-nserver is the almost complete rewrite of network-related CVS code featuring security-critical code in separate executables, a clean authentication layer allowing virtual repositories running under a single system account with an unlimited number of virtual users, simple authentication modules which can authenticate against /etc/passwd, /etc/shadow, and PAM, and complete compatibility with existing clients.
