R2CORBA is the reference implementation for the official OMG Ruby CORBA Language Mapping (RCLM). It implements the CORBA mapping both for MRI (1.8, 1.9, and 2.0 series) and JRuby.

The CCM Tools are CASE tools used for generating
CORBA components, test components, and test
programs based on source IDL files. Various target
languages can be generated. Scripting language
wrappers can also be generated to enable rapid
prototyping.

OAF is the Object Activation Framework for GNOME.
It has a similar purpose to gnorba, the GNOME 1.x
CORBA activation library, and will replace it for
GNOME 2.0. It allows you to do much more powerful
activation queries than gnorba. Each server is
described by an XML file that defines its
attributes. When querying or activating, one may
specify complex requirements using the OAF query
language.

OpenDDS is a C++ implementation of the Object
Management Group's Data Distribution Service for
real-time systems specification. In particular,
this implements the Data-Centric Publish-Subscribe
(DCPS) layer of the DDS specification.

The Harmless ORB does not want to be "the best ORB on the planet"; it
focuses on usability and interoperability. It does not implement any
service, including the Naming Service; instead, it uses the OpenORB
ones by default.

Jentchina is the client library part of "The Birds
Lake" framework. It is independent of any
graphical toolkit. Its role is to create the
filter trees, to maintain them, and to propose an
API that enables the application of a filter the
easiest way possible (while remaining independent
of any GUI). The Birds Lake is a big framework for
applying a filter on a document using a remote
filter server.

Universe is an extension to PHP to allow CORBA
access from PHP scripts. It uses MICO as an ORB.
Universe replaces the previous PHP extension
Satellite that used ORBit as ORB.

omniIFR is an implementation of the CORBA Interface
Repository for omniORB.

OpenPMF is a policy management framework which is
currently used with various technologies like
CORBA/CCM/EJB. It allows the centralized,
integrated management of security policies in very
demanding, heterogeneous (legacy) environments.

CORBA::MICO is a Perl interface to the MICO ORB. Its most distinctive feature is that it is
completely dynamic. It is not necessary to pregenerate "stubs" or "skeletons"; all
necessary information is retrieved at runtime.

Quality Objects (QuO) is a framework for providing
quality of service (QoS) in network-centric
distributed applications. These applications range
from embedded applications to wide area network
applications, including many military and
commercial applications. QuO bridges the gap
between the socket-level QoS being specified,
researched, and provided by a number of
organizations and the distributed object level
where many distributed applications are best
written. QuO adds QoS to CORBA and Java RMI in a
manner which is appropriate for creating
applications that can adapt to environments that
are unpredictable or have strict resource
constraints.

Recall is a framework for writing distributed, fault-tolerant, replicated
storage servers.

OpenCCM (Open CORBA Component Model) is an
implementation of the CORBA Component Model (CCM)
specification defined by the Object Management
Group (OMG). The CCM is the first vendor neutral
open standard for distributed component computing,
supporting various programming languages,
operating systems, networks, CORBA products, and
vendors seamlessly. The CCM is the OMG's
specification for creating distributed,
server-side scalable, component-based,
language-neutral, transactional, multi-user,
secure applications. One CCM application can be
deployed and run on several distributed nodes
simultaneously.

CorbaTrace is a helpful tool for tracing communications beetween Corba objects. Once CorbaTrace is installed, remote calls are intercepted and informations are stored in XML files.
