The Net::IMAP::Simple library provides a
simple-to-use, yet feature-rich Perl to IMAP API.

MIR (mobile IMAP reader) is a WAP frontend for
reading email from various IMAP accounts. You can
browse and read email messages stored in different
IMAP mail folders. It is developed with efficiency
in mind, and optimised to present all information
on a mobile phone in a compact form without any
overhead.

IMAPScrape is a utility to scrape messages which match certain criteria from an IMAP server and place them in a mailbox file.

Replex is an administrative tool for managing
email on any Unix-like OS. It can handle multiple
domains, users, mailing lists, etc. without
requiring creation of Unix user accounts for
mailboxes or authentication. Replex is written in
PHP4 and stores all information in a MySQL
database. Replex relies on Postfix for SMTP and
Cyrus for IMAP and POP3 accounts.

Open Project Services (OPS) is a project
communication and collaboration platform. It ties
together open standards for email, calendars,
timesheets, contacts, documents, and more, with
project information, using COTS clients and
servers.

IMAP::Admin is a Perl module for IMAP server
administration. It lets you do things like
create/delete email, manage acls, manage quotas,
etc. It supports cram-md5 and plain authentication
methods. It also has support for ssl.

pm2imap.pl is a perl script that will convert Pegasus Mail 3+ mailfolders (and trays) to Unix mbox format in the same Folder structure as your tray structure. This allows you to read your mail via IMAP instead of locally via the filesystem, which allows for "remote" reading of your mail.

dirqmail is a simple, fast, and reliable virtual user system for
qmail.

mswatch is a command line program that keeps two
mailboxes synchronized efficiently and with
shorter delays by watching mailboxes to know when
to initiate mailbox syncs. It is designed to work
in conjunction with other mailbox synchronization
programs and currently supports watching Linux
(2.4+) hosted Maildirs (including Maildir folders,
Maildir++).

Postfix/Courier/MySQL email system. It is
multi-user and includes a multi-language
privileges system, delegation of rights per
domain. The virtual mail system features virtual
domains, forwarding, aliases, sender-aliases, and
more.
