Mikrop is a small, easy to install program for mail servers to scan incoming email. It uses third party virus scanners, and is currently integrated with the Postfix MTA.

Pcom is a PHP-driven webtelnet, that is, a web interface to execute shell commands or external programs on a server without telnet access.

Univert is a Universal Unicode Converter, at least
as universal as the Unicode implementation in Tcl
8.1 or later can manage on your computer. Univert
will convert interchangably between the following
formats: native Tcl unicode, hex bytes or words
separated by spaces, decimal bytes or words
separated by spaces, HTML entities, UTF-8/URL
encoding, quoted printable with whatever the
current encoding is, and C string with whatever
the current encoding is.

PKGsummon is a GTK+2.2-based utility designed for keeping up to date packages (.tgz) on a Linux Slackware system. Package names are gathered from an FTP server and grouped in a tree view with different symbols to allow quick version comparison.

newsyslog is a faithful Perl rewrite of the MIT
newsyslog utility, with a number of features taken
from the FreeBSD and NetBSD variants of newsyslog.
It archives log files based on size, date or
interval, and can optionally compress archives
with gzip or bzip2. Complete documentation is
available via "perldoc newsyslog.pl".

Systraq sends you a daily email listing the state
of your system. If critical system files or user
access files (e.g. ~/.ssh/authorized_keys) have
changed, you'll get an email within a shorter
notice. It consists of few very small shell
scripts. It can help you implement a (not too
strict) security policy.

aptsamever lists or removes older duplicate
versions of packages installed by apt-get. With this
tool it's easy to keep only the newest version of
each package in the APT cache.

Meter runs a process, then if it's still going
after the specified number of seconds, sends the
child a SIGINT and two seconds later a SIGKILL.

Matrix Orbital LCD control allows to you to send
commands to a Matrix Orbital serial LCD screen. It
is designed to be used from startup scripts for
headless servers. It gives you full control over
the LCD screen and no other interface code is
required.

SlackMan is a GNOME-based package manager for Slackware systems. It aims to provide a friendly user interface to embedded administration tools (installpkg, removepkg, etc.).

Cinabox (Continuous Integration in a Box)
automates the setup of a Continuous Integration
(CI) system by doing The Simplest Thing That Could
Possibly Work. It consists of two simple scripts
to set up a cruisecontrolrb CI server from scratch
on an Ubuntu 8.04 system: one script to bootstrap
Ruby, and another script to set up CI.

tc-viewer provides the ability to watch current
transfers that take place in HTB and HFSC traffic
shaping classes on a specified interface.
