Backupninja allows you to coordinate system backup
by dropping a few simple configuration files into
/etc/backup.d/. Most programs you might use for
making backups don't have their own configuration
file format. Backupninja provides a centralized
way to configure and schedule many different
backup utilities.

The Invisionix Roaming System Remote (IRSR) is a

utilities based around cdialog that allows you to
configure your Red Hat/Fedora and similar Linux
machines. Its aim is to provide an alternate set
of utilities specifically for remote
administration of machines via SSH.

spill manages symbolic links under one tree which point
to matching filenames in another. When individual
projects are configured with project/version-specific --
prefix= settings, to keep their installations segregated,
spill can make them appear to be installed in a common
place, e.g. under /usr/local. It can also delete the links
associated with a particular program. It is similar in
concept to various other programs such as stow, depot,
and relink. However, it's written in C, so it isn't reliant on
an interpreter being available. It also doesn't assume
complete control of the directory tree where the symbolic
links are created. It can create both absolute or relative
symbolic links, the latter being more convenient in some
setups.

DB Copy Plugin is a database copying plugin for
the SQuirreL SQL Client. It makes it possible to
copy and paste tables from one session to another
and between different databases and includes
primary key and foreign key constraints for copied
tables, and uses Hibernate 3.0 internally to
perform database object type mappings. It
supports Firebird, Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL
Server, MySQL, HyperSonic, Pointbase, and
PostgreSQL, and allows the user to select a
Hibernate dialect for the destination database if
one couldn't be determined automatically.

CvsKnit is a toolset to automate knitting up CVS
repositories from existing source packages. This
may be useful to start revision management with
old releases included in the same repository, and
to automate external released packages into a CVS
repository.

cereal is an emulation framework able to emulate 8051-compatible CPUs and connected devices, designed to
allow easy addition of other (application-specific) devices to emulate.
