Sticky Notes provides a way to have little sticky
notes on your desktop. It is similar to knotes but
does not require KDE and features better
configurability.

This is a project to create 64-bit virtual CPU,
create a 64 bit assembler for the CPU and then
port C to it, and then create scripts to port
GNU/Linux to it. The aim is to run 64-bit Linux on
common 8/16/32 bit CPUs in applications where
speed is not an issue.

exJello is a JavaMail provider that connects to a Microsoft Exchange server (actually, it uses the WebDAV interface exposed by Outlook Web Access). It is designed as a drop-in replacement for the standard POP3 and SMTP providers. This allows you to send and receive messages through your Exchange server in situations where a POP3/SMTP interface is not available (through a restrictive firewall, for example, or if your administrator simply does not provide a POP3 or SMTP gateway).

JPasswordGenerator is a Java application for
creating safe and strong passwords from predefined
character sets in a random way. For this, a strong
random number generator is used.
JPasswordGenerator has six sets of characters that
can be individually enabled and edited. All the
characters from the enabled sets are put together
in a character pool (duplicate characters will not
be removed). You can configure the range for the
length of the password. When you press the
"Create" button, a password will be created by
choosing single characters in a random way from
the pool. A character is not removed if it was
chosen, so double characters can occur. The
created password is displayed in the password
field box and copied in the system clipboard, so
it's easy to paste it an editor, email, and so on.

The Qenherkhopeshef Java Vector graphics library can provide copy-to-clipboard capabilities for graphics you can draw to a Graphics2D object. The result can then be pasted in most word processors, like Word or OpenOffice.

Badge allows users to display a simple graphical "badge" that signifies membership with a particular group or project in a weblog signature. It is the digital analogue of an "I Voted" sticker, or the countless other bumper stickers given out by non-profit groups. Badge is a reasonably secure system for adding images to weblog singatures in a controlled way. IMG tags are generated dynamically by the weblog software, and since IMG tags are not normally allowed in weblog singatures, this should be pretty hard to forge. The Badge "server" generates the badge image on the fly.

Deadlock is a small, lightweight MUD based around dueling wizard wars. It is an experimental project which has the aim of exploring the use of Scheme as a worldbuilding language and also building a small standalone library, netezu, suitable for implementing lightweight, multithreaded, server/client software on Unix and Win32 systems.

vsound allows you to record the output of any
standard OSS program that uses /dev/dsp without
having to modify or recompile the program. It uses
the same idea as the esddsp wrapper and preloads a
library that intercepts calls to open /dev/dsp and
returns a handle to a normal file. It also intercepts
IOCTLs on that file handle and logs them to help
convert the audio data from its raw form. It then uses
sox to convert the raw data to the desired file format.

karma is a lightweight and simple to use J2EE
application framework intended for rapid
application development.

Ktell is a user level daemon that monitors expiration time of
Kerberos ticket granting tickets. It will send a warning to the
user's least idle TTY when a certain time is reached before the
ticket will expire. The checking interval and time before
expiry in which to send a message are customisable from the
command line.

Package Converter is an alien frontend . Alien is a program that converts between Red Hat RPM, Debian deb, Stampede slp, Slackware tgz, and Solaris pkg file formats. If you want to use a package from another Linux distribution than the one you have installed on your system, you can use alien to convert it to your preferred package format and install it. It also supports LSB packages.

gweb++ is an asynchronous event-driven Web server and reverse proxy. It is written in C++, but it doesn't make use of the STL or of any additional libraries.
It supports the following event notification mechanisms: epoll (edge-triggered, Linux), kqueue (FreeBSD), port (Solaris), poll, and select. It has the following main features: HTTP/1.1, reverse proxy, FastCGI, configurable via an XML file, MIME types support, pipelining, virtual hosts, Keep-Alive, directory listing (with an optional footer file), handling of the If-Modified-Since header, HTTP ranges, logs, configurable access logs, and log rotation.

Plop is a PHP software to make personal or small
Web sites in a simple way. It works like a
catch-all request script and is inspired by
Apache's directory indexing, but with many more
features. It can apply a skin to all pages, handle
photo galleries, collections of links, form
processing, to-do lists, resource lists, and much
more, all just by changing the extension of a
directory. It works without any database; just
with files, directories, and plugins.

distcleaner is a program that implements different policies to
clean Gentoo's /usr/portage/distfiles directory, which normally
grows and grows without limit.

Wolf Software MySQL Backup for Bash backs up an entire database. It stores the backups in folders based on date and time so multiple backups are kept separate.
