OutGoing is a Perl script that is designed to
aid with financial planning. It takes a list of
your regular monthly outgoings and
generates an HTML file that details the total
amount of money going out for the month, a
week-by-week breakdown, and a list of the
payments left during the remainder of the
month.

awesome-status populates the awesome window
manager's widgets. It features CPU usage,
date/time, lm_sensors (CPU temperature, fan RPMs,
etc.), memory/swap information, mpd information,
network download/upload, sound card information
(volume and outgoing level), and uptime
information. An example commented configuration
file is included.

Pactester is a tool to test proxy
auto-configuration (PAC) files. PAC files are used
by browsers to identify the correct proxy server
for a given URL. Since the PAC file evaluation
mechanism is generated inside the browser and
cannot be accessed from outside, the only way to
tell which proxy your browser will use for a
specific URL is manual inspection of the PAC file.
Unfortunately, this approach is error prone and
quickly becomes impractical for large and complex
PAC files. Pactester resolves this issue by
simulating browser behavior.

Information Currency CVS is a modification to the
CVS version control system. In conjunction with
the Information Currency Web Services system, it
makes "cvs commit" return information currency
representing the economic value of the submitted
source code. This enables the use of new economic
mechanisms for organizing software development
projects.

GreatCharts is used for creating good-lookings stock charts. It was
mainly developed for stock Web sites, to create on-the-fly
charts. Small charts (closing+volume) can be drawn in less than 10ms.
It can read different input formats, and can draw up to 20 charts in
one PNG with different scales. The supported types are: Closing, OHLC,
Volume, and Candlestick. The supported formulas are: Moving, Moving
Average, RSI, MACD, and Stochastic. The supported drawing types are:
line, filled, bar, and filled bars (filled can be transparant to the
background/underlaying plots). Everything is configurable through a
config file and parameters, including your own background, sizes, etc.

nsListen turns a click on a shoutcast or icecast server link into a playing, streaming mp3. It was written for Netscape (but can probably be adapted to other browsers) and defaults to using mpg123 to play the stream (edit a single line in the perl script to use xmms instead).

G-Inspector is a GLib(GTK+) object/class inspector.

libmelf is a library interface for manipulating
ELF object files. It is designed to be simplistic,
powerful, portable, and require very few dependencies.

Link Searcher is a PHP class that can be used to
crawl Web pages to search for given text. It
retrieves a given Web page and searches for links
contained in it. The new links that are found are
added to a queue to be crawled later and so
implement recursive searching up to a given depth
limit. The class looks for pages with text that
match a given regular expression.

NuxUserGroups is a Zope product that adds the
notion of groups of users. Groups provide a level
of indirection in the user -> roles mapping, which
provides greater flexibility. The groups are
defined and managed in the User Folder. They are
then used at the local roles level, where you can
define an additional mapping of groups -> roles,
thus giving the users who belong to these groups
additionnal local roles. A workgroup can be
defined simply and managed in a centralized manner.

SubEtha is a sophisticated mailing list manager, similar in many respects to the popular Mailman package but far more feature-rich. SubEtha offers easy installation on Windows and Unix platforms, a user-friendly Web interface, searchable, threaded archives, virtual domains, support for users with multiple email addresses, intelligent attachment handling, configurable message processing filters, per-list role-based permissions, and more.

class_google.php is meant to connect to Google and
perform a query. It lets you specify the query
parameters as in the advanced search page of
Google, and connects to Google via HTTP and
retrieves the contents of the results page. It
also parses the results to obtain the number of
occurrences found for the specified query. The
class requires PHP with TCP socket connection
support enabled.

configure-thinkpad is a GNOME IBM ThinkPad
configuration tool. It allows you to standby,
suspend, or hibernate your ThinkPad, change the
speed of the ThinkPad CPU, set a time to wake up
the ThinkPad, enable/disable the internal pointing
device, and more. It uses GNOME 2 and is based on
tpctl and ntpctl.

Mojotron is a Llamatron-style action game.

SourceHighlightIDE is an IDE for GNU Source-highlight. When given a source file, Source-highlight produces a document with syntax highlighting. In particular, SourceHighlightIDE is useful when you have to develop a new language definition file for Source-highlight. Source-highlight reads source language specifications dynamically, so it can be easily extended for handling new languages without recompiling the sources. SourceHighlightIDE is also useful when modifying or debugging an existing language definition file.
