LibRaw-Lite is a library for reading RAW files obtained from digital photo cameras (CRW/CR2, NEF, RAF, DNG, and others). It is based on the source code of the dcraw utility, though some of the drawbacks of dcraw have been eliminated. Users of the library are provided with an API to be used when writing their software programs. LibRaw-Lite is a simplified edition of LibRaw.

This software allows you to download the photos
made with the Samsung SGH-v200 (and possibly other
units) via the serial link cable provided by
Samsung. More protocol information is provided in
the source file to improve the software to manage
call lists, phone books, and other features.

Gphoto2html is a simple GTK-based application
which generates a set of Web pages, complete with
thumbnails, from a set of digital or scanned photos.

vgasnap is a program that allows Webcams based on
the stv680 chip (sold under different names,
mainly as Aiptek Pencam) to be viewed on the console.

Gallery Mage is a client side photo gallery
management system designed to work with online
gallery display scripts such as SPGM. Using
Gallery Mage, one can select, caption, rotate,
crop, resize, and upload photos taken with a
digital camera to an online photo gallery. The
rotate, crop, and resize parameters are stored as
text data with the images, and the operations are
only performed on a copy of the photo while
exporting, thus preserving the original picture
files. Gallery Mage provides abstraction from the
online display software.

KCamedia is a control program for older Olympus
Camedia cameras. It allows you to download images
over a serial line. The program has a QT GUI that
shows previews. Several camera settings are
supported.

jbum is an application (Webstart or jar) that takes a directory of images and turns them into a page of HTML. It generates thumbnails and supports rotating, reordering, captioning, spell-checking, and styling.

ExiFlow is a set of tools (command line and GUI)
to provide a complete digital photo workflow for
Unix systems. EXIF headers are used as the central
information repository, so users may change their
software at any time without losing their data.

VStar PhotoAlbum is a Web-based photo album
designed for amateur photographers with digital
cameras and their own Web server or home page. It
alleviates the need to to spend much time creating
Web pages to show off photographs, and also allows visitors to download original high-resolution images to print good quality pictures.

C_Sane is a C++ wrapper for the SANE library.

PfControl is a command line application for
controlling the "pixelfly" and "pixelfly qe"
scientific cameras manufactured by PCO. It
supports the setting of all parameters and the
capture of images. A video mode intended for
adjusting the objective is also provided.

pHoToMoLo is a toolset for managing JPEG images in JFIF or Exif
format. Photomolo generates a static HTML 4.01- and CSS 1-based
multi-resolution image gallery for a directory tree containing images.
Exifiron losslessly compresses and corrects the orientation of Exif
JPEG images. Jpegnail removes or embeds thumbnails. Jpegcom lets you
edit embedded image comments using any text editor and image viewer. A
shell script frontend for Exifiron is included for copying images from
removable storage, such as USB or Compact Flash.

CamRPC is a simple client/server solution to
update/manage several webcams using a PHP enabled
Web server and any client with XML-RPC
capabilities.

Hppsmtools is a collection of command line programs that allow you to retrieve and delete images from HP Photosmart C5340A and C30 (and probably Konica Q-EZ and HP C200) cameras, view the contents of their flash cards, and take pictures under control of the host computer.
