LiberORM is a class that can be used to store and retrieve objects as database records. It can take objects of arbitrary types and insert, update, and delete them in a database table according to mapping configuration.

This program is especially useful when the main difference between the two LaTeX files is in permutation of sections, moved equations, etc. Given 2 LaTeX files, it prepares 2 annotated LaTeX files showing which equations of the 1st file are identical, or close, or similar, to which equations of the 2nd file. It does the same with the pieces of text. It also saves the snippets of text and equations from each text into separate files in 2 new folders, allowing the user to see the difference using a diff program.

Charlemagne is a versatile genetic programming application. It
includes a commandline client and an interactive console mode. It is
written in Python and Lisp, and is user extensible to some degree in
both languages. It features built-in input-output mapping support and
provides the ability to define complex fitness calculations in Lisp or
Python.

mailspy monitors a sendmail mail server. It records the sender, recipient, subject line, and names of the attachments of messages. It can be deployed to archive copies of selected messages (both incoming and outgoing) and provide access to them through IMAP.

ussp-push is a BlueTooth OBEX object pusher for
Linux, using the BlueZ BlueTooth stack. It allows
sending files to any device listening for OBEX
connections.

Menc is an GUI to encode videos with MEncoder and
transcode.

gCountDown is a simple countdown timer and alarm that sits in your system tray and alerts you when the timer you've set runs out.

wavnorm is a simple command line utility to destructively maximize or alter the colume of a stereo .wav file. It's handy for making the volumes of a range of .wav files consistent before or after mp3 conversion, audio CD burning, etc. nplay is a simple .wav player with VU meter and peak meter. nrecord is a simple .wav recorder with VU meter and peak meter. Although simple the VU meter greatly aids getting optimum recording quality. nplay and nrecord use the newt text mode library.

makediary is a program to generate PostScript or PDF for a paper diary. It can generate diaries in several different paper sizes, including small pages on larger paper. It can also generate several different types of front matter pages (addresses, year planners, etc.).

myFriends is a small program for all of you who have an Apache WEB server and mySQL database running. It is an address list using a WEB interface. It maintains similar things to most address book tools, as well as family relationships. It will also store any number of dates, binary flags or plain text notes to each name. This version targets anyone who wishes to use a simple system and provides a starting point for learning these technologies.

ovpn-py is a plugin embedding Python into OpenVPN using the V1 API. It is a bridge allowing developers to write OpenVPN plugins in Python.

Radiocap is a GUI frontend to sox, oggenc, and lame for
recording audio with a soundcard (WAV, Ogg, and MP3).
It has a built in timer for scheduled capturing of radio
programs. Recording levels are always displayed (even
when recording has not started), which helps when
adjusting the input gain.

Project Elevate is an attempt to free users from
the desktop metaphor. It offers a fixed set of
applications which allow casual users to perform
the most usual tasks with their computer.

PyTele implements an interface to the Linux Telephony API from Python to allow creation of IVR (Interactive Voice Response) applications under Python control. A sample "digital answering machine" Python application is provided in addition to the extension code itself. The code has been tested and is known to work with the Quicknet LineJack products.

Bioloide is a graphical Web-based interface with several tools for checking various aspects of your Web sites, for users, yourself, and search engines.
It is extensible and currently includes auto RSS, RSS editor, Adsense and Analytics check, gallery generator, last modified files, and Zip generator tools.
