ただの希望なのですが、

MigMix Migu は M+ regular/bold を元にしているということですが、
一つずつ下げて light/medium を基調にしたシリーズの作成予定はないでしょうか。
プログラムにはいいですが、漢字を使う環境ではやや潰れ気味で読みにくく感じています。
MS_Gothic と比較しても太いですね。

確かにMigMixはRegularとしては太めですね。こうしている理由は、合成しているIPAゴシックと太さを合わせるためです。

なぜIPAゴシックが太めなのか‥‥それはWindows搭載のMSゴシックが「リョービイマジクスの“ゴシック-B”を元にした」つまりBold相当の太さであり、それに合わせたのだと思います。

試しに M+ 1c lightとIPAゴシックを合わせてみました。

lightとIPAゴシックではやはり太さの違いがめだちます。
regularとならよくマッチすることが改めて判明しました。

ということで、lightとの合成フォント作成予定はありません。
