MIDI files not rendering? (2022-11-27 16:51 by nolanjrempel #92730)

Hello! I'm new to all of this so apologies if this is a bit of a stupid question. I've made some orchestral pieces with FL Studio, and have been trying to make a visual for a video I'm currently working on. However, when I try to load my .MIDI files into MIDItrail, nothing shows up. It still only has one bar, BPM of 067, 4/4 time score. Is FL Studio's version of MIDI files just not compatible? Or am I just doing something really wrong here?

Cheers!

Hello!
Are you using MIDITrail for Windows?
If so, the file extension should be ".mid" instead of ".midi".

I downloaded and used the free trial version of FL Studio.
I selected the following menu to output a MIDI file.
MIDITrail was able to read that file.

* TOOLS > Macros > Prepare for MIDI export
* FILE > Export > MIDI file...

Hello!
Yes, I was using the Windows version. But, I was missing the step of using the Macros to Prepare for MIDI export. Didn't know this had to be done first. Now it works fine.

Thank you for the assistance!
