u2ps is a text to Postscript converter similar to
a2ps, with Unicode support. It supports various
input encoding and ANSI sequences. It is written
in Perl and Postscript, and requires no external
libraries to work.

Initial release. Left-to-right scripts only; fancy rendering (Indic scripts, etc.) is not supported. ANSI sequences for color/font style change and basic cursor movement are implemented. Supplied with fontsets for Latin, Cyrillic, Greek, Georgian, Japanese, and Thai scripts, and also contains IPA and various scientific symbols.
