Eine Zone-Datei kommt nun mit tktz, so dass es keine Notwendigkeit, ihre Position angeben mehr. Das Programm wird nicht mehr ohne einen gültigen Wert in der Umgebungsvariablen TZ starten. Unterstützung für viele xrdb Optionen wurde fallengelassen. Die Fähigkeit, mit dem Parameter-xrm Kommandozeilenoptionen entfernt gesetzt wurde.

Minor feature enhancements
This version was totally rewritten to reflect
changes in Tcl/Tk 8.5.x. This removed some
internal quirks. A timezone file now comes with
tktz, so there is no need to specify its location
anymore. The program will no longer start without
a legal value in the TZ environment variable.
Support for many xrdb options was dropped. The
ability to set parameters with the -xrm command
line options was removed.
Ein Fehler in der Timer für die aktuelle Zeitzone, die es unmöglich gemacht, verschiedene Zeitzonen beim Starten der Anwendung festgelegt wurde behoben. Die Zeitzone Name wird nun in dem Formular angezeigt "America / New_York''statt" EDT''. Name und Zeitzone zu UTC wird jetzt auch beim Timer angezeigt. Ein Unterschied Label (in Stunden: Minuten-Format) ist jetzt zwischen gezeigt, die zwischen dem aktuellen und ausgewählten Zeitzone.

A bug in the timer for the current timezone that made it impossible to set different timezones at application startup was fixed. The timezone name is now displayed in the form "America/New_York'' instead of "EDT''. Timezone name and offset from UTC is now displayed in both timers. A difference label (in hour:minute format) is now shown between the between current and selected timezone.
