sslexpire provides remote check for SSL certificate expiration date. It connects to hosts:port, retrieves the expiration date, and shows you if it's going to expire. It can retrieve multiple host:ports from a config file to do mass daily checks.

Der Aufruf von "date-d" wurde mit dem Einsatz von str2time von Datum: Fassung: Parse. Die beiden openssl Anrufe wurden in ein für Effizienz zusammengeführt. Variablen wurden geschaffen, um auf die OpenSSL und sendmail-Binärdateien Punkt. Die Verwendung von "mail" wurde mit "sendmail-t ersetzt", da der Befehl mail, könnte leicht einzuführen Sicherheitslücken. Einige Rechtschreibfehler wurden behoben.

Minor feature enhancements
The call to "date -d" was replaced with the use of
str2time from Date::Parse. The two openssl calls
were merged into one for efficiency. Variables
were created to point to the openssl and sendmail
binaries. The use of "mail" was replaced with
"sendmail -t", since the mail command could easily
introduce security flaws. Some typos were fixed.
