PyTele implements an interface to the Linux Telephony API from Python to allow creation of IVR (Interactive Voice Response) applications under Python control. A sample "digital answering machine" Python application is provided in addition to the extension code itself. The code has been tested and is known to work with the Quicknet LineJack products.
