Major feature enhancements
This release contains a large number of bugfixes
(including fixes for a few crash bugs and for serious
problems with fullscreen support). A number of new
features has been added as well: tables, scaling of pll-
embedded content (like LaTeX or Metapost), and pll-to-
tgz packing, etc. It no longer keeps Python embedded but
has become a plain Python extension. It also uses far less
memory and fewer CPU cycles.
Diese Version ist hauptsächlich ein Bugfix-und Clean-up-Mitteilung, aber ein paar neue Features sind auch hinzugefügt worden. Pointless unterstützt jetzt einfarbigen Hintergrund-Bilder (nicht gestreckt oder nebeneinander angeordnet) und Bilder mit einer festen Position. Customization-Unterstützung hat einige PLL-Befehle hinzugefügt. In Bezug auf die Übertragbarkeit von sinnlos, scheint der Mac OS-Anschluss reibungslos jetzt arbeiten. Auch die Variante des SDL sinnlos wurde aktualisiert, um die meisten Funktionen in der X11-Variante wiedergeben.

Minor feature enhancements
This release is mainly a bugfix and clean-up release, but a few new features have also been added. Pointless now supports plain background images (not stretched or tiled) and images with a fixed position. Customization support has been added to some pll commands. As to the portability of pointless, the Mac OS port appears to work smoothly by now. Moreover, the SDL variant of pointless has been updated to reflect most of the features in the X11 variant.

This release introduces full-screen support (interactive as well as on the commandline). For X11 installations with XVidMode support, there is support for resolution selection (interactive as well as on the commandline). The Pll language now has support for stretchable and tileable backgrounds. Moreover, there is support for inclusion of metapost, gnuplot, and source code. Finally, quite a few bugs have been fixed.
Dies ist die erste öffentlich angekündigte Freilassung. Es unterstützt TrueType-Schriftarten, Bitmaps (im PNG-Format), Vektor-Grafiken (Encapsulated PostScript), sowie als LaTeX-Formeln.
