OpenScientist is an integration of open source
products working together to do scientific
visualization and data analysis, in particular for
high energy physics (HEP). It provides a
re-implementation of FreeHEP's AIDA and CERN's PAW
software, graphing and data analysis software,
together with a framework for combining
third-party software into a single unified
environment.

Ein HDF5 Fahrer war in BatchLab eingeführt. Das Build-System wurde mit obuild ersetzt. Unterstützung für CoinPython wurde hinzugefügt. Erste Unterstützung wurde sowohl für Qt4 und SDL aufgenommen. Beispiele wurden hinzugefügt. Assorted Aufräumarbeiten und Beschleunigungen vorgenommen wurden.
