This package's NIS+ implementation is based on the current snapshot of FreeBSD's NIS+ and is a special port for glibc 2.1. This package provides both the NIS+ client and server programs. PAM (Pluggable Authentication Modules) is a system security tool which allows system administrators to set authentication policy without having to recompile programs that do authentication. Pam_keylogin package contains pam_keylogin.so module and nesesssary configuration files that allow NIS+ authentication.
