madman is a music manager application in the vein of Apple's iTunes and its many clones. It serves as a tag editor, a media library, and a CD burning frontend, and is extensible through plugin scripts. Dynamic playlists and powerful search features allow you to listen to better music all the time.

Die AutoDJ wurde komplett erneuert, mit großem Nutzen. Broken-Tags und Dateinamen sind jetzt viel mehr ordnungsgemäß behandelt werden. Eine automatische Tag-Kennzeichnung Funktion wurde hinzugefügt. Eine passive popup kündigt song Änderungen. Suche wurde erheblich beschleunigt. Eine neue SCons-basierten Build-System wurde implementiert. Einige Bugs wurden gefixt und viele kleinere Verbesserungen vorgenommen.

The AutoDJ was completely redone, with great benefit. Broken tags and filenames are now treated much more gracefully. An autotagging feature was added. A passive popup announces song changes. Search was sped up considerably. A new SCons-based build system was implemented. Several bugs were fixed and many smaller improvements made.

Ein HTTP-Server hinzugefügt wurde, werden von einer Skriptsprache / Remote Control Interface und ein Web-Frontend, das Streaming-und Suchfunktionen. Der HTTP-Server ausführen können eigenständig. Eine konfigurierbare Anzahl von Backups einer Datenbank gehalten werden. Der Build-Prozess verwendet nun autotools. Sucht wurden asynchrone eine deutlich schnellere Reaktionszeiten. Startup-Zeit wurde drastisch reduziert.

Each song now has a "Performer" field as well as play statistics and can be rated on a scale of 0 to 5 stars. Easy mass tagging was implemented. A configurable number of backups will be kept of a database. The build process now uses autotools. Searches were made asynchronous for much faster response times. Startup time was dramatically reduced.
