lua-httpd provides a shared library that
implements simple networking primitives which can
then be used from within your own Lua scripts. As
well as the shared library, there is a simple
sample HTTP server (with virtual host support),
demonstrating how the library can be used.

The extension library has been updated to also provide some simple filesystem primitives. These primitives are used to make the HTTP server much more complete; it can now support directory indexing, and fall back to using a default virtualhost if the requested one doesn't exist.
