This release fixed a problem with the Update download button not working due to an incomplete HTML::Parser update. Three patches were added to fix security issues in Perl.

Major security fixes
The update is split into two part to accommodate the free space limitation. The main change is a kernel upgrade with more hardware supported. The second important change is a dnsmasq upgrade in response to the DNS vulnerability CVE-2008-1447. As usual, this version can be installed as an update from previous 1.4.x versions, or with ready-to-go ISO or USB bootable images or PXE for a fresh install.
Der Linux-Kernel 2.4 und iptables sind nun verwendet werden. Alle Frühförderung unterstützt ADSL-Modems und das Alcatel Speedtouch 330 Modem werden nun unterstützt. Die Port-Forwarding-Schnittstelle mit Unterstützung für Port-Bereiche und PPTP (GRE) verbessert. Dänisch, Niederländisch, Griechisch, Norwegisch, Schwedisch und Spanisch Sprachen sind jetzt verfügbar und kann von der Web-Schnittstelle ausgewählt werden. Major feature enhancements
The Linux 2.4 kernel and iptables are now used. All ECI ADSL supported modems and the Alcatel Speedtouch 330 modem are now supported. The port forwarding interface was improved with support for port ranges and PPTP (GRE). Danish, Dutch, Greek, Norwegian, Spanish, and Swedish languages are now available and can be selected from the Web interface. Improvements were made to log reporting, the open connections display, dial-on-demand traffic selection, and traffic graphing (which now uses MRTG).
Dnrd mit DNSMasq ersetzt. Aktualisierte Software beinhaltet Speedtouch, Snort, SSH und ein PPTP-Client. Neue Module sind ip_masq_ipsec und ip_masq_h323. Mehrere Sprachen wurden hinzugefügt (Deutsch, Französisch, Türkisch), wie Configuration Backup / Restore, Unterstützung für die Pulsar ADSL PCI-Karte, statische DHCP-Leases, Aliasing auf der roten Schnittstelle, Dial-on-Demand-ADSL-und Proxy-Graphen.
