The Linux hot-profile hack is a hack for the Linux
kernel which allows one to enable the built-in
kernel text profiling capability on the fly,
without having to reboot the machine. The target
platforms are 2.2 and 2.4 systems running on the
ix86 or SPARC64 architectures.
